Junior / Assistant Level Designer

Mens and Ladieswear Streetwear Fashion Brand

Manchester City Centre

Full-Time Office Based.

Salary dependant on experience between £24-£27k

We are seeking a creative and passionate Junior/Assistant Level Designer to join our clients dynamic team. As a key member of the design team, you will contribute to the development of innovative and trend-setting men’s and ladieswear streetwear collections. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to grow their career in the fashion industry while working with a well-established brand in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections for men’s and ladieswear streetwear.
– Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and garment specifications.
– Conduct research on current fashion trends, fabrics, and colors to inform design concepts.
– Participate in fittings and provide input on garment construction and fit.
– Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure timely production.
– Contribute to the development of mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations.
– Support the design team in various administrative tasks and project management.

Requirements:
– A degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
– Previous experience in a design role, preferably in streetwear or casualwear.
– Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
– Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
– Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary unto £25k

Full-time Hybrid 1 day a week.

We are seeking a bright and dynamic Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience in merchandising and demonstrate the ability to work at a fast pace, think creatively, and adapt quickly to new systems. You will be working on key accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing orders from confirmation through to shipment, liaising with factories and customers, chasing completion, and uploading test reports.

Merchandise Admin Assistant

Salary approx £23k

Manchester Central Location

Full-time Office Based Role

Key Objective:

The objective of this role is to work within the Merchandising team to maximise commercial opportunities on your product area on brands.

Attention to detail and an understanding of the knock on effects of every task undertaken.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Prepare weekly reports and ensure all key people have copies as a priority by Tuesday afternoon.
  • Ad hoc reporting and administrative jobs when required
  • Develop awareness of product are by reviewing the weekly sales trade reports and keeping up to date with new actively across design and make.
  • Update systems with the current ETA / Availability from the supplier critical paths
  • Liaise and be first point of contact with the w/house around delivery issues.
  • Collate, key and check price amendments.
  • Interact with other internal teams to improve performance and drive best practices
    With the Merch check that all product landing in the warehouse has the correct Cost and Retail price and that the margin reflects correctly
  • Manage line cards in conjunction with the Merchandiser Reconcile supplier order books and communicate all anomalies.
    Raise and Ratio all orders onto the system.
  • Keep the Range Plan up to date with every order sent and ensure any amendments sent back from suppliers are updated in the range plan in a time Run daily sales and send to merchandiser.
  • Run Weekly New ins and send to merchandiser.
    File maintenance

Ensure you understand and are focused and working towards a shared goal.

Seeking guidance on ‘Best Practice merchandising from the team and implement develop relationships as appropriate with Warehouse, Design Team, Marketing etc.

Salary: Negotiable in the region of c£35k willing to review salary dependant on experience.

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Product Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee some design aspects and be responsible for the development, sourcing, critical path management, coordination with factories, and assisting with fit and quality control of products. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and project management skills to ensure the successful launch of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Development:

Collaborate with the directors to understand product requirements and specifications.

Undertake CAD/Design work. Work closely with directors to research, create & pull together new collections.

Develop product prototypes and oversee the transition from concept to final product.

Ensure products meet market needs and company standards.

  1. Sourcing:

Identify and source appropriate materials and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and price.

  1. Critical Path Management:

Develop and manage the critical path for product development projects.

Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.

Communicate project status and any potential delays to stakeholders.

  1. Factory Coordination:

Liaise with global factories and suppliers to ensure production processes align with company standards.

Oversee the loading of products and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Address and resolve any production issues that arise.

  1. Fit and Quality Control:

Assist in the fit process to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.

Conduct quality control checks and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Development,Design or Fashion Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development, sourcing, and quality control.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD) and project management tools.
