HEAD OF CREATIVE/CREATIVE LEAD

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Vision:

 

  • Ensure all creative output aligns with the brand’s identity, values, and target audience.
  • Stay ahead of fashion trends and translate them into innovative and engaging creative concepts.
  • Develop and oversee the creative direction for all marketing and communication channels (e.g., website, social media, email, campaigns).
  • Generate creative concepts for campaigns, product launches, and brand experiences.

 

Visual Content Creation & Management:

 

  • Oversee the planning and execution of high-quality photo and video shoots for E-Commerce product photography, lookbooks, and marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the design of marketing materials, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and print collateral.
  • Develop engaging and shareable visual content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with the target audience and communicate the brand’s unique story.

 

Team Leadership & Management:

 

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of creative professionals (e.g., graphic designers, photographers, videographers, copywriters).
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to ensure creative alignment and achieve business goals.

 

Analysis & Measurement:

 

  • Monitor the performance of creative campaigns and analyse key metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion rates, ROI).
  • Use data and insights to inform creative decisions and optimise campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Continuously analyse and refine creative strategies based on performance data and industry trends.

 

Budget & Resource Management:

 

  • Manage the creative budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external creative partners (e.g., photographers, videographers, production companies).
  • Negotiate contracts and fees with vendors and freelancers.

 

 

What you’ll need to succeed as a Creative Lead

 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute innovative and impactful creative concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of visual storytelling and how to effectively communicate brand messages through imagery and video.
  • Strong understanding of design principles (typography, colour theory, composition) and the ability to provide constructive feedback on creative work.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring creative teams, fostering collaboration, and motivating individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate creative concepts and ideas to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects), and potentially some basic coding knowledge.
  • Ability to analyse data and use insights to inform creative decisions and optimise campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion industry, including current trends, competitive landscape, and target audiences.

 

Desirable Skills:

 

  • Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of e-commerce marketing.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices for creating engaging content.
  • Experience with creating dynamic and engaging motion graphics and animations.
  • Hands-on experience with photography and videography techniques.
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering software.
  • Experience in managing creative budgets and negotiating with vendors.
